Program Highlights

• Practices to be held at Ardrey Kell High School

• CLT Elite provides all practice and match gear (except wrestling shoes , mouthpieces, headgear, and socks.) 

• Players keep gear at the end of the season.

• AAU Certified Club with an outstanding safety record

• Divisions are determined by age and weight for safety

• Early enrollment encouraged as roster spaces are limited (50 person roster limit)

• 12-13 Tournament Competition Events. 

• Season runs from November thru March.

Important Dates:​

• Open Online Registration - Oct 1, 2018 

• Community Registration - TBA at Ardrey Kell Scrimmage in Ballantyne Village

• Last Day of Registration - October 31st at Parent Meeting 

• Parent Meeting - October 31st, 6:30pm to 7:45pm at Ardrey Kell High School 

• First Practice - November 5th

Parent Meeting:

Meeting will be at Ardrey Kell High School, November 13, 6:30pm to 7:45pm in Cafeteria. Parent or guardian of participating child must be present to sign participation forms. Paperwork can be turned in at this meeting if not previously submitted online. No equipment will be handed out until all paperwork is turned in and full registration payment is made. Registration Fees of $320 (checks or money orders payable to Charlotte Elite Wrestling Club and cash accepted) are to be paid in full at Parent Meeting Check-in.

Gear Handout: End of November, exact date to be announced.

Required Competition Gear: The equipment/uniform for wrestling consists of headgear to protect the ears, a singlet / wrestling specific shorts and compression top, and wrestling shoes.  (If you have braces or orthodontic devices a mouth piece is also required.) Shoes and other gear not included in the registration package can be found one our gear page

Wrestler age:  Grades 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th

Practices begin: November 14th, Schedule to be handed out at parent meeting.

Practice Location: Ardrey Kell HS

Practice Frequency:  Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Practice Times: 6:30-7:45pm

Registration Fees:

$320 to be paid in full at time of registration / Parent Meeting. Includes Charlotte Elite Wrestling Club gear package and all team training practices on schedule.

Other Useful Information

Competitions are optional but heavily encouraged. Competition prices range depending on the level of event. Local Events are approximately $20. Competitions are a way for us to test, grow, and teach the knowledge, techniques, and principles of the sport as it applies to growing into a responsible young adult.

A Parent carpool will be organized to transport kids to and from competitions for those who need rides. 

 

Gear Package Includes- Competition Uniform Shorts, Competition Uniform Compression Shirt, Charlotte Elite Warm-up Hoodie, AAU Insurance Card, Wrestling Club Mesh Practice Shorts, 2 Wrestling Club Practice Shirts.

Wrestling Shoes, headgear, knee-pads, and other other gear can be purchased online or Dicks Sporting Goods.

Registration closes November 30th, 2017.
